Fructose syrup is a mixed syrup composed of glucose and fructose. The raw starch is liquefied by amylase and saccharified by saccharification to obtain glucose, and part of the glucose is co nverted into fructose by glucose isomerase, and finally high fructose syrup is obtained. Excessive acetaldehyde in high fructose syrup is a key co ntrol problem in the production process, and the main cause of acetaldehyde is the biochemical reaction of microorganisms.
Haohan Chromatography (Shandong) Application Technology Development Co., Ltd. studied the resolution, limit of quantification, limit of detection, repeatability, precision, accuracy and linear range of gas chromatography for the detection of acetaldehyde, and obtained accurate and effective determination of the co ntent of acetaldehyde in fructose syrup.
